MEXTYPSA’s GIS Department collects, manages and analyzes data in an environment based on GIS (Geographic Information System) technology, integrating different types of data that allow identifying patterns and relationships that help in decision making, nowadays it is an important tool in the areas of engineering, environment, energy and earth sciences due to the ease in handling information.
The services developed by the department are:
- Thematic maps;
- Analysis and processing of base cartography;
- Integration of web viewers (geoportals);
- Creation, maintenance and management of geodatabase.
