  • Economic: Promoting economic growth by improving regional integration, with a mixed transport system connecting key production and tourism centres in the region
  • Social: Respecting the traditions of indigenous communities, defending gender equality
  • Environmental: Preserving the natural habitat and ecosystems
  • The 1,584 km line crosses the Yucatan Peninsula in 8 sections, passing through the states of Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo, with a total of 29 stations
  • Passenger traffic will travel at a maximum speed of 160 km/h, while night time freight traffic will travel at a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
