Water Engineering

MEXTYPSA’S Water Engineering Department is integrated by professionals with the capacity to develop projects where the latest state-of-the-art knowledge is applied, innovative technologies that help in the decision making process to make viable the sustainable development of natural resources such as water and energy.

These projects allow the sustainable development of industry and society, through the realization of various studies such as: Hydrological Studies, Geohydrological Studies, Water and Energy Potential, Flood Studies, which allow the evaluation of possible risks and their mitigation measures; those referring to the so-called Large Hydraulic Structures such as Dams, Exclusions, Canals, Ports, etc. Those of Hydraulic Works related to the Environment, such as Filtering Dams for Erosion Control and River Channeling Works, Wastewater Treatment Plants, those of Works related to Drinking Water supply, such as Wells, Drinking Water Treatment Plants, Pumping Systems and Pumping Lines, Distribution Networks, Collection and Storage Construction, as well as the integral Management of Water Resources, among many others.

To achieve the above, MEXTYPSA applies all regulatory requirements and the experience of the working group to meet the demands of each project with the highest degree of quality, always seeking the optimization of resources and the integration of the scientific bases of hydraulic design.
