Metropolitan Systems
The urban development of the country so far this century has involved significant changes in the distribution of the population, the organization of economic activities and the consequent increase in the size and number of urban locations. In the area of metropolitan railways, TYPSA's experience extends to more than 390 kilometers and 300 stations of conventional metro networks, as well as more than 450 kilometers and 200 stops of tram and light rail lines. These data place us, notably, as the Spanish consulting company that has the most kilometers of line, stations and subway and tram stops designed or supervised in its construction.
In MEXTYPSA this experience has resulted in a deep knowledge of all the problems that these infrastructures pose, as well as the most appropriate solutions to address it. To this is added a multidisciplinary approach that, with adequate coordination between the different disciplines and specialties, allows integrated and viable solutions to be offered, in which the most diverse points of view are taken into account: structures, architecture, geotechnics, facilities , exploitation, urban integration, etc.
